The second floor is divided into two rooms.  The larger room features two doors that open towards the hillside at the back of the building. The room also contains a staircase leading up to the bell tower cupola and a door providing access to a smaller room adjacent to the smokehouse.  The small room was plastered and likely used for meat preparation and/or as a bunk area for hired hands.  A small hole to the smoker suggests the room could be heated.  A door opens to the smoker, where meat was hung to be smoked.
